One of the best things about being a member of the writing world is that I get to know young writers who are doing the necessary hard work to develop their craft. One of the best of them is Madeline Mora-Summonte. Remember that name, because she’s going to be famous one day.
Madeline has been published in several venues, has won several prizes, and gets better with everything she writes. Most recently, one of her short stories, “The Salute of the Old and Crotchety,” was selected for publication on Monday, June 16, in Every Day Fiction. Less than a thousand words, it’s a great sample of her writing skill.
So to get a preview of work from one of tomorrow’s best selling authors, check it out. And give it your honest ranking. Madeline will appreciate it.
