The UPS guy brought a big bag of advance review copies of CAT SITTER AMONG THE PIGEONS yesterday. That’s always an exciting moment, to see the book almost in its final form. An advance review copy is printed up from the first copy-edited version, but not the final copy-edited version — the one in which last minute changes and corrections have been made — so it can have some glitches that won’t be in the final published book.
I’m happy to say I didn’t find any typos in the review copy I read, and no random little dashes or periods that sometimes creep into type. I like the new typeface they’ve used too, it’s much easier to read. And I love the cover art. To add to my pleasure, I just learned today that there will be a large print edition coming out soon. All in all, I’m excited about the release of CAT SITTER AMONG THE PIGEONS.
